The Environmental Division is the Army Staff proponent responsible for policy, prioritization, resourcing, and oversight of Army environmental programs.
The Environmental Division manages Army environmental programs in support of the institutional and operational Army.
Serves as execution authority to establish program execution priorities and approve work plans.
Plans and programs resources; develop regulations, strategic plans, implementing policies and program guidance for the Army.
Conducts periodic environmental program management/execution reviews to assess program performance.
Serves as principal advisor to the Assistant Chief of Staff for Installation Management (ACSIM) on environmental programs.
